This is the last Will and Testament of me Samuel Crisp1 at present belonging to her Majestys Ship Terror Seaman First I revoke all former Wills Codicils and other testamentary dispositions by me at any time heretofore made I give devise and bequeath unto my dear wife Mary Ann Crisp all my Real and Personal Estate and Effects whatsoever which I may hereafter become possessed of or entitled to by purchased or otherwise howsoever money in banks goods furniture chattels and every other matter and thing of what nature or kind soever of which I shall be possessed of or entitled to at my decease and I hereby constitute and appoint my said wife Mary Ann Crisp sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament In witness whereof I the said Samuel Crisp the testator have at the foot or end of this my last Will and Testament set my hand this fourteenth day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty five _ Samuel Crispe _ Signed by the said Samuel Crisp the testator and by him declared to be his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who in his presence and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses thereto _ Daniel Brennan _ William Weels.
Proved at London 11th Augt 1854 before the Worshipful Frederic Thomas Pratt Doctor of Laws and Surrogate by the oath of Mary Ann Crispe (in the will written Crisp) Widow the Relict the sole executrix to whom admōn was granted save and except all wages Prize Money or other Moneys payable in respect of service in Her Majestys Navy having been first sworn duly to admr The Letters of Admōn of the goods of the deceased granted in the Month of June last to the said Mary Ann Crispe on the suggestion that the said deceased had died wholly intestate having been voluntarily brought in and revoked by Interlocutory Decree.
